What happended?

A coup d'état in Myanmar began in 1 February 2021 by the armed forces led by Min Aung Hlaing

A national state of emergency was declared for a year. The country's civilian leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, was detained. Protests over the coup appeared around the country.

20 February 2021, 5 unarmed protesters were killed by security forces.

One of them was a 16-year-old boy.

The situation escalated dramatically in March 2021, total 508 people were killed.

It was a bloodbath.

In that amount, 162 incidents happend in just a single day: 27 March 2021

That was in the deadliest day since the coup.

Who are they?

1116 people are civilians.

I wonder what were they doing?

85 students were killed.

Future of the country, they said.

We also lost 46 teachers, doctors, nurses, engineers and civil servants.

The majority of people, 1221 in total, are males.

Do they look terrifying? I don't think so.

100 females were killed too.

How old are they?

212 people are 20 or younger.

Who would expect to be this soon?

The youngest victims are just 1 year old.

122 people are 50 or older.

They should have a peaceful life at this age.

And most of them, 703 people, are between 20 and 50.
